Being Energetic

Being energetic is like being a magnet for meeting people. People are pulled into your energy and are instantly intrigued. If you want to be sociable at a very high level, you need be filled with energy and be the source of it. Human nature naturally pushes people towards high-energy situations.

Think back to the last sports game or party you were at. Think about the rowdy group of folks that were there out of control and making a huge commotion. Now how many times did people swarm to them to see what the big deal was about? Or how many times did they start a chant that was carried on by everyone in the venue? Now while the rowdy group of folks in the example can be obnoxious at times, my point is simply that their energy is magnetic.

Being this source of excitement is first a mindest which then works its way into your personality. You need to be the guy that when you arrive, the good times begin. People are waiting on you to be the guy that gets everyone excited and happy to be together. To develop this you need to consciously make sure that you are at least as energetic as the group you are with and preferably slightly above their energy level.

Now that last statement is very important since you have to be aware of your surroundings. Being at a nightclub or football game requires a much higher energy level than going out to a restaurant. So while you shouldn't be inappropriately out of control, you should aim to be slightly above the level. For example, if you are eating lunch with your colleagues or friends, you will want to constantly being making conversation and interacting with those around you but not throwing chairs through windows.

It may take work to find what the proper energy level is, but being energetic will ensure that everyone can't wait to spend time with you.
