Avoid the Friend Zone

If you are looking to go out with a girl, then it is crucial you avoid the friend zone. When you don't avoid the friend zone, you will find it extremely difficult to change her perception of you. Here is what you need to do to avoid that.

First Impressions - From the very first time you meet a girl, if you are interested in her then you need to make sure that you come across as a guy with dating potential. Try not to ask the same boring questions as every other guy - "Where are you from?" or "Where do you work?" or "What do you enjoy doing?". These questions will show that you have no creativity and are not exceptionally interesting. Instead show that you are exciting and knolwedgeable.

Be Physical - I cannot stress this enough. One of the biggest mistakes men make is that they are afraid to make physical contact. As long as the setting is appropriate, give a girl a hug when you meet her rather than a handshake. Give her a pat on the back or a playful hit. Making physical contact early on makes it that much easier for a connection to escalate into something more.

Show Interest - Maybe back in grade school it wasn't cool to show interest in a girl, but now you need to. That being said, you can't overdo it either. Make sure the girl you are interested in has an idea that you have a little something going for her. The "chase" of seeing whether a girl also likes you is one of the best feelings in the world. Don't be afraid to toss an original compliment her way or shoot her an e-mail letting her know you are there. Even if the girl isn't originally interested in you, oftentimes she will be intrigued and test you to see whether it would be fun to go out on a date.

These three concepts should help you avoid the friend zone and will make sure you aren't pining for a girl when she doesn't even know you exist.
